The main use of these D&D Multi-Function Float Switch Systems is to control evaporation loss in salt water systems.
The float switch can be fitted to either a vertical surface (e.g. tank wall) or to a horizontal surface such as a bracing bar. In all cases the float switch must operate vertically. The height can be adjusted to suit the required depth of water, and as the float switch rises and falls it switches the controller on and off, which in turn controls a pump or solenoid to top up the lost water. Float system comes complete with snail guard to prevent snails or other debris causing a malfunction of the float switch
Deltec Float Valve System RUW12LVS
Top Up System with Low Voltage Solenoid
Complete with LV controller/mains transformer, float switch and low voltage solenoid
This system is ideal for controlling top up water supply from reservoir above tank or sump, or direct from a reverse osmosis unit. Solenoid will then shut off water supply once water level reaches pre-determined level. (Please note there are safety back-up considerations which need to be addressed with the use of this system, to prevent overfilling tank should solenoid fail)
Deltec Float Valve System RUW12LVP
Top Up System with Low Voltage Pump
Complete with LV controller/mains transformer, float switch, Rio 600 12v pump (760 lph) and 1m of 9mm top up hose
Pump should be installed in a freshwater reservoir and connected to the main tank using the hose provided. A hole is drilled in the float switch bracket to accept the hose outlet. This end of the hose should not be positioned below the final water level, as syphoning is likely to occur when top up pump switches off
Deltec Float Valve System RUW230MO
Top Up System with Mains Outlet Supply
Complete with LV controller/mains transformer with UK 3-pin 230v socket attached ( cable length :10cm), and float switch
Same as system above but designed to accept your choice of mains pump
