Two Little Fishies Kalkwasser

Two Little Fishies Kalkwasser
The Marine Aquarium Calcium Supplement Mix

"Kalkwasser" is the German term for limewater, a saturated solution of calcium hydroxide in water that is used to replenish calcium and maintain alkalinity in marine aquariums

Kalkwasser benefits corals, clams, and calcareous algae that build skeletons, shells, and crusts from calcium carbonate.

Futher benefits of this solution are that it helps maintain aquarium pH and precipitates phosphates. It also reacts with fatty acids and other organic compounds, and this plus a naturally boosted pH enhances protein skimming. It thus promotes a cleaner, healthier aquarium environment

Warning : contains Calcium Hydroxide

Use only in accordance with instructions on the container and Keep Out of Reach of Children

Supplied in dry powder form, for mixing with cool freshwater. Mix 1 or 2 teaspoons of kalkwasser per gallon of cool freshwater. Mixing ratio may alter depending on your particular circumstances. Full instructions are included and should be followed carefully as overdosing with any brand of kalkwasser can be dangerous to your marine life

PhosBan™
Julian Sprung's Marine Aquarium Formula

This granular ferric oxide hydroxide adsorbs phosphates from saltwater and freshwater. Also adsorbs silicates and dissolved organics. Does not leach adsorbed substances. Long lasting and easy way to control phosphate levels permanently.

Take care of your phosphate problem with Two Little Fishies' PhosBan, another new product in the Julian Sprung’s Formula line.

PhosBan is a highly porous super adsorbent granular filter media made from ferric oxide hydroxide.

PhosBan binds large quantities of phosphate, and can keep phosphate levels in aquariums low for months. And it is completely reef safe.

PhosBan also adsorbs organic compounds and other pollutants, and doesn’t release anything back into the water, even when fully saturated.

PhosBan gives long-lasting control of phosphate levels for a clean aquarium and enhanced growth of hard and soft corals.

PhosBan Phosphate Adsorption Media. Problem solved.

Size: 150g. Treats 150 gallons.

Usage : PhosBan must be used in a flow-through contact chamber  so that the water is directed through it.

Use 50gm per 200 litres saltwater, 50gm per 400 litres freshwater. Can be overdosed at up to 5 times the recommended usage levels. PhosBan can be effective for several months before it needs replacing, but useful life depends on aquarium phosphate levels. Change when phosphate levels begin to rise

Two Little Fishies Marine Snow

Two Little Fishies Marine Snow
Planktonic Food for Filter Feeding Marine Invertebrates

This first of its kind product reproduces the special biogenic suspended matter found in natural seawater. These aggregates, collectively called "marine snow" by ocean researchers, are known to be an important element in the food chain of marine ecosystems.

Marine Snow is a food for tropical and cold water marine animals that feed on particulate and dissolved organic matter, phytoplankton and zooplankton.

Ideal food for soft and stony corals, anemones, hydrozoans, feather duster worms, clams, crinoids (feather stars), sponges, tunicates (sea squirts), foraminiferans, and other filter feeders. Shrimps, brittle stars and even fishes will eat Marine Snow aggregates.

Feed at least one capful (5ml) per 20 gallons. Frequent feeding will not cause build up of excess nutrients. Larger doses can be added by feeding several times per day, or continuously via a drip-feed system or peristaltic dosing pump. Do not mix with trace elements or other chemical supplements in a dosing reservoir.

Refrigerate after opening

Marine Snow is also a suitable source of food for brine shrimp.

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, phytoplankton, (Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis, Isochrysis, Spirulina, Schyzochitruim), dried seaweed meal, zooplankton, fish oil, citric acid
