Blagdon MiniPond Green Water Clarifier

Blagdon MiniPond Water Garden Green Water UV Clarifier is a chemical free and effective long term solution for controlling green water. The UV Clarifier is economical to run and is safe and simple to install.

The UV light lamp kills green water algae. As the algae is killed, it binds together to form larger clumps that are easily removed by the filter.

Two models available:

MPU4500 : For ponds up to 4500 litres (990 gallons).
MPU6000 : For ponds up to 6000 litres (1320 gallons).

Pro Clear Advantage

Using ultraviolet light, Pro Clear Advantage Ultraviolet Pond Clarifiers destroy the green single celled water borne algae which make garden ponds murky and unattractive As no chemicals are used, there is no danger of pollution or over treatment of the water and sensitive plant and pond life is not affected.

At the heart of each Pro Clear Advantage unit is an ultraviolet lamp sealed inside a quartz sleeve. As water is pumped through the unit, ultraviolet light from the lamp destroys the algae, leaving the water clear.

Two sizes are available:

Pro Clear UV30 which is suitable for ponds of up to 6000 imp. gallons (27000 litres) with a maximum flow rate of 3000 imp. gallons (13,500 litres) per hour.

Pro Clear UV55 which is suitable for ponds of up to 10,000 imp. gallons (45,000 litres) with a maximum flow rate of 4,000 imp. gallons (18,000 litres) per hour.

For smaller ponds we recommend the Pond Clear range of UV Pond Clarifiers.

TMC Pond Pro Advantage 110w UV :

Suitable for ponds up to 16,000 imp gallons/72,000 litres

Designed for large ponds, incorporating pressure filters or pressure circuits such as sand filters and venturis.
Can be used for pressurised systems up to 56psi.
The Pro Pond UV110 has 2" solvent weld inlet and outlet ports and may be connected to either flexible or rigid plumbing using the appropriate plumbing fittings (not supplied). To ensure unrestricted flow, it is recommended that the unit is not plumbed in with anything less than 11/2" pipework.
Suitable for ponds up to 16,000 imp gallons/72,000 litres (dependent on stocking density and the amount of sunlight the pond is subject to) with a max flow rate of 8000 imp gallons/ 36,000 litres per hour.
Individually chambered lamps for optimum efficiency and contact time.
Fused quartz glass sleeves which ensure that germicidal lamps are able to reach their optimum 'burn temperature' where the highest amount of UVc radiation is emitted. Also facilitates simple lamp replacement by keeping lamp separate from the pond water.
