The Xterminator comes complete with full and easy to use instructions, including a concise pond volume and treatment chart which indicates the time period required for any given pond size.
The Xterminator has a unique safety feature that automatically switches the unit on to standby mode after a given period of time to ensure concise and accurate treatment of the blanket weed.

How It Works :
Blanket weed is a fast growing filamentous algae. It forms a strong mat-like growth that is not only unsightly but can clog and damage pumps and filters.
The Blagdon Electronic Blanket Weed Controller has a unique microprocessor, which emits varying radio frequencies through antennae cables provided. This disrupts the calcium ions in the water and causes the blanket weed's cells to break up
Depending on the environmental conditions in the pond, the full effects on the metabolism of the blanket weed and its reduction may not be seen for up to 90 days
How You Use It:
The Electronic Blanket Weed Controller antennae is wound in a coil around the pond hose anywhere inline between the pond pump and pond filter. Once the unit is connected to the mains electrical supply, the antennae will commence to emit a radio signal through the hose into the passing water.
