The PetSafe Radio Fence is an electronic system for keeping your dogs inside your garden without the expense of installing and maintaining a conventional fence.
How the system works: An aerial wire is laid around the perimeter of the area within which the pets are to be contained, ideally buried about 50mm/2" below ground. This emits a low frequency radio signal generated by the transmitter installed in the house or garage.
Your dog(s) wears a small receiver on its collar. When the dog approaches the boundary the receiver picks up the radio signal and gives an audible warning. If the dog continues, he will receive a mild and harmless static correction, similar to that sometimes experienced from a car door or lift button. He should only receive the correction a few times during initial training since he will quickly learn to respond to the warning signal.
Installation: Very easy to install. Clear and straight forward instructions are provided.
