Utilising computer aided liquid flow analysis Lotus have developed their unique 'wrap around' filter housing which dispenses with the need for a sponge when used for a waterfall or in conjunction with a filtration system.

Because the Maximus advanced design 'wrap around' filter cage reduces the need to clean the pump, less demand is made on the motor, leading to higher electrical efficiency and reduced energy costs

The Maximus is capable of handling solids up to 8mm and is guaranteed for three years.

All pumps are supplied with 2 x 4" Risers, flow adjuster T-Piece, 4 different fountain roses and a bell jet.

The Maximus 2000 & 3000 come with a single T-Piece which will take 25mm (1") hose and fountain heads

The Maximus 4000, 5000, 7500 & 9000 come with an additional large T-Piece which will take a male 1" BSP hosetail (not supplied) and adaptor which will allow the smaller fountain T-Piece to be fitted as well. The large T-Piece, as supplied, will take 40mm (1.5" ) hose fitted externally, without the need for additional hosetails

Lotus Olympus pumps set a new standard in performance and reliability.

They have been developed to take high volumes of water which contain quantities of solids to either a waterfall or filter without clogging.

Other pumps adapted for this purpose use 'modified' impellers, which reduce the head of water.


The Olympus incorporates a macerating impeller that breaks up the solids enabling them to easily pass through the pump. This system has no detrimental effect on the head so as a consequence the Olympus 10000 can deliver a volume of water up to 5m high making it ideal for larger waterfalls and filters.

The asynchronous motor is sealed for life and incorporates a thermal resetting cut out which protects the pump in the unlikely event it becomes blocked.

There is a lifetime guarantee on the shaft and bearings.
