Hagen Repti Glo 8.0 Desert Terrarium Lamps
The latest version of this lamp is now being released with the UVA remaining at 33% but the UVB has been increased from 8% to 10%. The new tube has been renamed Repti Glo 10.0.
Reptiles need ultraviolet (UV) light to synthesize their vitamin D3 from the UVB component of it. Vitamin D3 is essential for the effective metabolism of dietary calcium in reptiles necessary for growth and good health.
