The newest product from Eheim research improves and optimises the performance of their existing Ehfisubstrat

Spherical Filter Material : guarantees optimum utilisation of the filter chamber of the employed filter and ensures an even water flow in the filter bed

Enlarged Pore Structure : ensures optimum colonisation of the bacteria required for the conversion process (nitro-bacteria) and delays the silting-up of the pores to a great extent

Filter Media Required

Specially-structured coarse filter medium for trapping solid dirt particles.

EHFIFIX is used as effective mechanical filtration at the water inflow of the filter as second layer (e.g. after EHFIMECH).

It is also ideal for use in overflow chambers.

The material can be washed out under cold water and can be used several times

This product offers the highest adsorption. It is alkali activated, acid-washed, pH neutral, heavy metal free and formed in a special compression mold to perform a rapid, highly effective adsorption of harmful substances and residues of medication.
