PimaFix is a natural botanical remedy made from Pimenta racemosa (West Indian Bay) oil, providing unique active compounds, which harmoniously work together to attack fish diseases. The active compounds found in Pimenta racemosa not only provide many different modes of action, but also eliminate the possibility of the development of resistant strains of disease-causing organisms. Until now, most antifungal medications resulted in unsightly water discoloration throughout the course of therapy.
PimaFix does not have this disadvantage, providing better viewing of fish during treatment. Treating with PimaFix will not harm the biological filter in freshwater or saltwater aquariums or ponds. PimaFix has no effect on pH. PimaFix is harmless to aquatic plants.
In extreme cases of especially stubborn infections, PimaFix has been designed to work synergistically with MelaFix. Using PimaFix and MelaFix together provides the added benefit of quick tissue regeneration and wound healing.
PimaFix Directions for Use
Shake well before each use.
For best results remove activated carbon during treatment.
As a disease treatment: Add 1 tsp for every 10 gallons (40L) of aquarium water.
Repeat dose daily for 7 days. Treatment may be continued, if necessary.
* Whenever treating with any medication, we suggest performing a 25-50% water change every three days depending on the organic load in water.

API Aquarium Salt

Directions for use:
General tonic and stress reducer: add one rounded tablespoonful for every 5 gallons (18.9 L) of aquarium water.
Tropical fish treatment or with a remedy: add one rounded tablespoonful for every 5 gallons (18.9 L) of aquarium water. Water temperature of 80°F (26°C) during treatment is recommended.
To hatch brine shrimp eggs: add eight tablespoonful for each gallon (3.78 L) of water.

API Water Softener Pillow

Directions for Use :
Rinse pouch before use
Flatten pillow to evenly distribute resin
Place pouch in the filter so that the circulating water passes through it.
Activity of the pillow lasts for 48 hours before re-charging is necessary
Hardness Removal for Each 48 hours usage:
Aquarium Size :
5 gals (19 litre) : 280 ppm removed
10 gals (38 litre) : 140 ppm removed
20 gals (76 litre) : 70 ppm removed
(Based on Large Pillow of 57gm resin)
Recharging and Storage:
After intial use do not allow pillow to dry out
Recharging solution is 2 tablespoons of aquarium salt in 120ml of water
Allow pillow to recharge for at least 2 hours
Discard recharging solution after 4 recharges
If not being used, store pillow in recharging solution
