  Unique solid state electronic thermostat controlled PTC technology heater. Safely and reliably delivers high efficiency heating resulting in stable water temperatures set between 18° C to 34° C
  Multi-directional flow return which allows you to control the turbulence in the aquarium. This can be removed and replaced with a hose pipe fitting (supplied) which allows the flow output to be taken to a spray bar or other water feature
 

  • Adjustable aeration feature draws air into the impeller chamber for high levels of aeration.

  • Adjustable flow control and multi-directional flow return allows water flow to match the exact requirements of your aquarium.

Accessories Include:

  • Under gravel uplift fitting.

  • Hose fitting outlet adapter (fits hose with internal dimensions of 13mm (½in.)).


     NOTES
  • The recommended Thermo Pump will maintain temperatures up to 26 C (ideal temperature for most tropical species) in a well-heated house and circulate sufficient water through under gravel filters in a normal community tropical fish aquarium.

  • Select  the next model up if the aquarium is in a cold location or a temperature above 26 C is required.

  • If large messy fish are present in the aquarium then either select the next model up, add an extra Thermo Pump or adjust the flow rates to maximum.

  • Due to the dynamic nature of Thermo Pumps heating method a lower wattage heater can maintain temperature in a much larger aquarium than a normal heater


  Under Gravel Filters

Position the Thermo Pump on the under gravel uplift. The Thermo Pump heats the water as it circulates it through the under gravel plate ( The flow output can be attached to a spray bar as illustrated)

  Power Filtration Sytstems

The Thermo Pump is a very neat combined heater and pump system for multi-chamber filtration systems.

  Under Gravel Filters

The Thermo Pump is ideal for heating and circulating the water in a turtle aquarium. Its robust design is less prone to damage.
