HAGEN introduces the new Single Glo and Double Glo Fluorescent Light Control Units. They make it easy and convenient to either use or supplement with fluorescent lighting in a wide variety of applications, including aquariums, terrariums, vivariums and seed germination enclosures.
Single Glo uses a modern looking vented ballast cover that protects cabinets and canopies from excessive heat.
Double Glo uses a state-of-the-art electronic ballast for cool, quiet application.
Both have water-resistant end-caps, preventing damage caused by moisture or splashing water. The conveniently located mounting bracket permits safe and neat placement of the ballast. By mounting the unit externally, away from the bulbs, there is a reduction of heat build-up commonly associated with conventional canopies. The control unit can be used with or without an external timer, making it possible for complete control of any lighting system.

A single control unit to run two fluorescent lamps, each one the same wattage as marked on the unit.

The wattage shown is the wattage of each of the two lamps that can be fitted to the unit, i.e. Glomat 2 20W will take 2 x 24" 20w fluorescent lamps

Customer Notice:

Please note the correct connection of the lamp leads as shown on the control unit outer casing. If you connect both leads from one end of the unit to either end of the same tube, the tube will just flash on start up and not light.
