Bioplast BioKern Tubular Filter Medium
BioKern is a filter medium for mechanical as well as biological filtration. Made from environmentally friendly PE-plastic it is ideal for the long term filtration of aquaria with high waste levels in canister filters as well as trickle filters. The only plastic-segment medium to be composed of fine tubes through which the water flows extremely slowly, thus providing ideal colonization zones for anaerobic micro-organisms.
