During normal operation the temperature readout will change color if the aquarium water varies +/-1 °C or +/-2 °F or more from the pre-set temperature.

Aqua El NeoHeater is the first shatterproof aquarium heater on the market that comes with an accurate thermoregulator based solely on electronic sub-assemblies.
It is flat and comes with a double, universal bracket that allows it to be installed on any wall in the aquarium.
A circle made of LEDs is visible on the front of the heater.
Its operation is exceptionally simple and can be performed using only one button placed on the heater top.
After connecting it to the power supply it is enough to set the desired temperature by pressing the button. The temperature will be indicated by lighting a LED. After a while lighting of all diodes confirms the setting of a new temperature. Except for the diode indicating the temperature desired in the aquarium, another one will be lit as well - indicating current water temperature. If it is lower than the set temperature, the LED will blink slowly showing that the heater is operating. On the other hand if the water temperature in the tank is higher than the one set (e.g. during heat waves), the LED indicating it will blink very quickly to warn of the possibility of overheating the aquarium water.
Therefore, in addition to the heater, we receive a modern, electronic thermometer.
Additionally they are equipped with a thermal switch that protects the device from overheating in case of leaving it out of the water.
Their usage is not restricted to aquariums - thanks to very durable construction they can be used in aquariums, pools etc with turtles and other reptiles.

The armoured catfish family (Loricariidae), with more than 700 described species, is one of the largest and most varied groups of fishes known to Man.
Until a few years ago these catfishes played only an insignificant role in our aquaria, but nowadays they have become the height of fashion.
Since the latter part of 1988, when a number of new and sometimes exceptionally colourful loricariid catfish species were first imported, a real catfish boom has sprung into life.
Around 500 species new to the aquarium hobby have been imported, and these sometimes vary quite significantly in their requirements.
The object of this book is to provide both beginner and more experienced aquarist with an introduction to not only the maintenance but also the breeding of these fishes.
It covers some 390 of the most important and most interesting "L-number catfishes", listed alphabetically by genus and species, and illustrated in full colour.

The filter is fixed in the tank with suction holders. The special feature of the pick up concept is that the pump unit remains in the tank when the filter canister is taken out together with the filter sponge.

D&D Xwave Wave Pump 6800 : An Extra-Ordinary Wave-Maker
The new Xwave is a high quality, low voltage, high performance wavemaker for the marine or reef aquarium producing high water flow with a low energy cost
The Xwave pump is the ideal tool for moving high volumes of water at a low running cost within your marine aquarium. Like all stream type pumps the Xwave produces a wide, high volume area of laminar, low pressure waterflow which is gentle on coral tissue compared with the narrow directed jet which is obtained using a high pressure pump nozzle.
All Xwave pumps are controllable and come with a remote power supply which offers 5 selectable speeds as standard.
When used with the multi-controller (available separately) the options are even greater with a choice of funtions to tailor the pump output to your specific requirements.
